- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 10 oz large marshmallows
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp red food coloring
- 1 tsp blue food coloring
- ¼ cup sparkling sugar or sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Grease a large baking pan with butter or nonstick spray.
- In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in the Rice Krispies until well coated.
- Divide the mixture into three bowls; add red food coloring to one bowl and blue to another.
- Press half of the red mixture into one side of the pan, half of the blue on the other side, then press the plain Rice Krispie mixture in between.
- Sprinkle with sparkling sugar or sprinkles for added decoration. Let cool before slicing into squares.
