- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in cocoa powder and flour until just combined.
- In another bowl, beat together more softened butter with remaining sugars until light and fluffy. Mix in eggs followed by flour until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread half the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over it, then spread the remaining brownie batter on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean but moist.
- Drizzle warm caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
