Hibiscus agua fresca is a vibrant, refreshing drink that embodies the joys of summer. With its stunning ruby-red hue and harmonious blend of tart and sweet flavors, this beverage is perfect for hot days. Made from dried hibiscus flowers, freshly squeezed lime juice, and just the right amount of sweetness, it’s an ideal companion for picnics or backyard gatherings. Serve it over ice for a delightful tropical escape right at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

  6. Allow to cool completely, then serve over ice with optional garnishes like lime slices or mint leaves.
